    Not at all sure how this account is an award winner! This account has a cumbersome website, several steps to find information required. When transferring money in and out of other internet based savings accounts (and we have experience of several) funds are available within 3 days- Ubank require 4-5 and then for any amount around $2000 or more they find a need to hold funds for 10 days. This isn’t mentioned in their terms and conditions and they are unwilling to advise just how much they consider to be “a significant deposit” so maybe they will hold funds for 10 days for an even lower amount. This is even when funds have come from the “linked A/c” separately verified by them on account opening.
    We thought they wanted to attract funds to their bank but almost every deposit has been an issue with holds (one hold was even applied for twice the amount deposited!) and we therefore wouldn’t recommend this account to anyone.
    Seriously considering moving back to less interest and a more user friendly and customer friendly platform.
